I woke up to a disturbing email from the director of my video “Dear SHooter.” It was a link to a video broadcast from ABC Chicago reporting on the 40 shootings we had in the last 2 days. With Spring in full effect and the tempature approaching 80 for the first time since October this happens every year and its not exceptable. My song “Dear Shooter” is over a year old but it remains so relevant especially in my home town of chicago. So if you’ve lost some one or just want to spread a positive message send this to your family and friends or simply tweet or post on facebook. The best offense for stopping the violence is raising awareness and communication. Lets talk to the shooters before they pull the trigger…..
